Hello there! 🙂 Come in, sit down. Taffy? Let me take your coat. Have some cake. Thank you for coming to my very first thread post ever. I hope you enjoy it. I think we’re going to have lots of fun here in my first thread. You know, I’ve always wanted to create my own thread and someone come by who was just like you. I’m glad we could be together. Oh, that cake! I almost forgot. Here, don’t get up; don’t get up, I’ll get some for you. Now, would you like a big slice or a little one? Theeerre, you go. Just the right size slice I hope. I made the cake myself, I hope you enjoy it. Now, some of the other guests should be dropping by soon and when they do we’re going to play lots of games together. And wear party hats. Here, I’ll put this one on you… There. Don’t you look smashing in that cone party hat. It really matches your outfit. I’m sure the other Dopers are just going to be green with envy. Hm. I wonder where all the other guests are. I sure hope they show up soon; I wouldn’t want them to miss out on the fun. It’s a beautiful day outside, the weather sure is nice. I’ll bet that’s where they all are; outside when it’s such a nice day. We’re going to have lots of fun here. I can tell. I’m glad we could be together today. 🙂 ---

Geez: Nobody else showed up, huh? Maybe they’re afraid of snipers or somethin’ like that. Or it could be the “Road Closed” sign somebody stuck up just down the street… Tell ya’ what **Blackeyes** , what say you lock this place up and come on with me? Blackeyes, it’s the party hat thang. I have a double chin and the elastic string just emphasizes that. I’m going to come anyway, and assume you won’t enforce hat-wearing. I would love some taffy.
