I do have a DVD player.
You have an internet refridgerator?
I have to admit, I lusted over that for a while, but just couldn’t afford it. No, I do indeed have a Virtual Boy. It’s an interesting change of pace from the Game Boy or the Nintendo DS.
I don’t really get the purpose of the internet fridge. I can see the point with the others, but the internet ready fridge just doesn’t compute.
Where do you live? You’re in America, right? Are you near any sort of metropolitan area? In my area, people give away large, flat-viewing-surface CRT sets often less than 10 years old for free on Craigslist when they get a flatscreen.
flatscreen CRTs don’t work well with the NES Zapper.
I already have plenty of TVs. I see the free ones on craigslist all the time, but they are sometimes broken.
ok got it
I had to change the VCR settings from TV to CATV
I couldn’t do it on the first VCR I was using because I don’t have the remote, but I borrowed the downstairs VCR (which I can change because there is a Menu button on the front of the unit so I don’t need the VCR) so now I can watch all the channels. But I can’t actually use the knobs, which is the only reason I wanted an old TV
How many is “plenty”?
seven
I have an old Apple IIGS (fresh with the very first version of Windows!) somewhere in my attic if you want it, my time-travelling friend.
I see what you did there.
I liked it because of the novelty: plus it would make it easy to pull up recipes when you needed them. If I would have had the money, I might have just bought one.
