Geez, great fucking thread, buttfuckers, pussy fuckers, mouth fuckers, toy fuckers, whatever-fuckers and anti-fuckers (hope I didn’t leave anyone out). My two cents is that this whole left-right dichotomy has become another nonsense article of faith that just distracts from useful conversation. The values the right used to promote are no more, and “the left” and “liberal” are more epithets than meaningful categories. I am me, my opinions are my own, and you can keep your dipshit categories the fuck off of me! What do these labels have to do with how many dollars are spent on X, how big is the deficit, the best way to address problems A, B, and C? They pretty much have jack shit to do with anything except that righties have been brainwashed by the spokespeople of wealthy political donors that any action by the government to help any citizen anywhere in any way is a slippery slope to Stalin-style Marxism, while anyone who disagrees and thinks We the People can use our government to solve real problems and guarantee rights for everyone gets labeled as essentially evil and has their arguments forever derailed into this left-right bullshit. Jesus Herbert Walker _Christ_, people, pull it out! Sorry your friend turned into a Trumper, OP. I think some people really need something to believe in, and Trumpism at least offers a clear set of bogeymen and easy-to-understand conspiracy theories. I had to be offline for a day but wanted to come back and answer a few things. First, this is somebody who is in my circle of friends. If I want to avoid her it means I will have to skip birthday parties and gatherings for my other friends. They don’t care much about politics. Second, I do know what QANON is. After the last dinner I tried to explain it to some of the rest of the crowd but it sounded too insane for them to believe that this was what she meant. Third, I wound never rant at her with a wall of capitalized text. I wanted to demonstrate my emotional state and how I felt like responding. Instead, as I noted, I kept changing the subject to mutual friends, the birthday gifts, the cake etc. Finally, I do think the trolls are getting to me. I have spend too much time on another board where posters keep coming on and writing “I never really liked Trump but he is not getting any credit for the good he has done for the country. I wasn’t going to vote for him in 2020 but after the way the Democrats attacked him from the very beginning and wouldn’t even give him a chance, I can’t vote for any of them,” or “Say what you want about him personally but at least he’s fighting to do what he promised which is more than the rest of the government is doing. I don’t support the wall but I support the fact that he is willing to work so hard for it despite being obstructed at every turn. We need a President like that”. I am losing faith in humanity. This, combined with the fact that he is raising record amounts of money, is part of what has gotten me out on this ledge. ---

The best approach to dealing with **Annoyed** and all the other Trump asslickers is to picture them as brain damaged. Or as toddlers. Either way, they are a burden we must live with and tolerate. Keep them away from sharp objects and voting booths. And in **Annoyed** ’s case, keep him away from all children too. ---
