On the other hand, if you’re lying to us it means we’ll never believe another word you say.
I asked nicely, didn’t I? Credible it is, unless you’re calling my friend a liar. Why can’t you just drop it? I don’t know if she’s telling me the truth, but I choose to believe her.

We play a game where we try to guess when people will die. These are not the people you are looking for.
The worst way to keep people from commenting in your thread is to ask people not to. People have opinions and will give them, come hell or high water. Choose the advice you agree with, thank the people who responded, and move on. You can’t stop people from commenting, but it doesn’t do any good to get irked if they do. This thread was dead for three weeks before you picked it up again. Chances are it would have remained that way.
