My friend Steve, who is excedingly handsome and clever, is considering joing the SDMB. He’s known about this place for some time, and this weekend he attended a Londope (because I mentioned it was on and in his vicinity and we hadn’t seen each other for a bit). So he came and had a jolly good time and met other dopers. Now that he knows we’re not all freaks, I have been poking at him to join properly. I think a thread in which we all encourage him to join usssssssssss might finally tip the scales. So won’t you welcome my friend Steve? Tell him how friendly we are? How much of a _contribution_ he could make? ---
