He keeps putting rice rocket crap on my Honda Civic. I told him to stop and he keeps doing it! I already have a spoiler, weird smoked headlights and smoked backlights, stickers galore, some metal thingies on my hood, fog lights. some seat covers with Chinese writing on them, rims, etc.!!! Now he’s ordered a body kit, chrome mirrors with turn signal arrows on them, and a cgrome stepping bar! This has got to stop. I’m embarrassed to drive in such crap even though I know he’s trying to make my car look nice. I’m simply going to rip off what I can and tell him to fuck off. He drives my car too. He thinks he’s entitled to drive it because he puts stuff on my car. What a jerk! ---

Who bought the car? Whose name is on the title? Is it really your car or is it his and he lets you use it? I’d have killed for _any_ kind of car back when I was a teen. As it was, I was the 4th driver in a one-car household… Just for a perspective, you know. ---

I’m just guessing here, got no clue. For what its worth, OK? Sounds like he dotes on you. Sounds like he regrets opposing/not helping in the car buy, and is trying to make amends by buying stuff for the car, but without admitting he was wrong. Perhaps all this hurts your car’s feelings, but it will get over it, car’s are very resilient that way. Unlike people. ---

Speaking of stupid things that people put on cars; I saw a new one yesterday. They were some sort of cover that went over the actual wheel that were designed so that the wind from moving forward causes them to spin. The result is that when the car stops they are still spinning and it looks as if the car is still moving. Startled me because it looked for a moment as if they were about to slam in to the car in front of them ---

That does sound like a problem. Seriously. I agree with \*\* quietman1920\*\*, tell him that you’d like to have the final word in what’s done to your car, and ask if you can have a check. If you wanna be real diplomatic, the two of you can pick stuff out together. If you don’t wanna be diplomatic, remind him that it’s _your_ car, he wouldn’t help you get it, so customisin’ and no drivin’ for him. UPDATE: That fucker is going to pay. I went out in the driveway and ripped everything off that was glued on with a butter knife. The neighbor sees me out there at 5 in the morning ripping stuff off my car and thinks I’m breaking into it. Ha! I took off padded seatbelt cover, fucking fake chrome door handle covers, 20 stickers, a step bar?, fake H things for Honda. I don’t see the point in putting this removable shit on here. I’ve had plenty of it ripped off in parking lots. I thank the fuckers for doing the job! Now I have to wash the car to get the sticker residue off. He’s going to raise some hell this morning from me doing this, but I can give a fuck. He’s making my car into a 17 yr old boy’s dream. I am a 20-something woman driving a rice rocket POS. I just don’t see myself doing that. If he wants to help me by customizing my car he should by me schoolbooks for college! I know the reason he’s doing it to my car. His car has no room left on it to place any sticker or stupid chrom piece so he’s moved to my car for the next project. You should see his damn car. It has a chrome ladder on the back of a Toyota 4 runner. What the hell is a ladder for? His car is a circus wagon of bullshit. I wish I had pics to show you, but my car isn’t going to turn into a monstrosity. I’m not bragging about my car either. I just needed to turn to you guys for advice because I’ve tried talking rationally, then yelled, then gave up. I told my mom to speak to him and he put more stuff on my car. ---
