My God: fake bombs as 'performance art'

I don’t think that anybody with an ounce of intelligence would mistake those things for real bombs. This is just outrage for the sport of it.

(Yes, other people could disguise fake “art” bombs as real bombs. They could also disguise garbage cans or flower pots. I think that’s a bogus concern).

I was, of course, using hyperbole, but history shows that there’s little beyond the depravity of the worst of Man.

This is nothing new – Pamela Anderson has already done fake boobs as performance art.

Oops – my bad.

SANTA CLARITA, California (AP) – A newspaper promotion for Tom Cruise’s upcoming “Mission: Impossible III” got off to an explosive start when a county arson squad blew up a news rack, thinking it contained a bomb.

Even though I have no intention of seeing Mission Impossible 3, I think it’s still too early to call it a bomb.
