I also grew up in a PINK house. On a street with white and grey houses. Ours was in the middle of the street too. When the moon was full and the sky was clear it glowed. Couldn’t miss it. “Where do you live?” “The PINK house” “Oh, okay, I know where that is” Then came a day when we waved buh-bye to the pink shingles. The house was stuccoed. But the trim? Painfully bright red. Not a dark red. Not a soft red. It was stop sign glare red. And now? My house is (thankfully) white aluminum siding. No painting there. Except the shutters. Which are Big Bird Yellow. ☹ ---

Actually, that shade of pink with a gray (or even black) trim would look quite Art Deco. ---

House Update, Day 3: No less pink than before. **Ethilrist** , the outside of the house is pink, which is pink. The inside of the house is unpink, which is not pink. Does that make sense? ---

Maybe it’s the house that MTV gave away in the 80’s. Remember John Cougar saying “Paint the mothah pink!” for about 6 months before the contest was over? ---

The driveway is sealed in dark grey, but we’ll have three cars crammed onto it so you won’t see much. The trim on the house is white. I talked to the third guy today- who wasn’t there when I went to poke around the other day, and he said, “I wanted another opinion. Do you like it?” My response? “I hate it. I really hate it. The landlord might be POed if you paint the outside without permission. I personally dont’ the anti-pink feelings that some people have. ---

House Update, Day 5: Pink as ever. We’re supposed to be signing our leases next week. I am not a happy camper. Still, having an “Eek! Pink House!” Orlandopefest would be pretty cool, and you guys would have no trouble finding it… ---

you’ll get used to it. Pink in Montana is one thing but (IMO) pink in Florida is wholly acceptable. Besides, it will show all the ladies that you are secure in your manhood. ---

Hey, there’s this house in the area that is deep purple, with a turquoise door, and screaming yellow zonkers yellow curtians in the big front picture window. It it is truly ugly. ---

There is this bright purple house in my city. It’s also built like a Barbie house, and has all the outside accesories to be one. It’s awesome.
