Death of a loved one definitely ought NOT be announced as Mundane Pointless Stuff. It is just way too sadly ironic. Julie, I hope the genuine, heart-felt, affection shown by all of your fellow Dopers here so far has helped soften the blow as it has helped alleviate some of the burden you feel right now. Dwell on all the good times and keep those memories alive. ---
