I once had a client whose reticulated python escaped from its tank. He searched the house, but could not find it, and as it was winter, he assumed the snake deceased. About a year later, he was doing laundry in his basement. A ceiling tile fell due to the weight of a snake and _plop_ there was a snake on the basement floor. He brought the animal in for an exam, and told me the story. The snake was much bigger than the one he lost, so he thought it was a different snake. When I pointed out that it was much more likely the same snake he lost, he asked me how it had survived without being fed. I tried to be polite.😉 ---

My big fat blackie insists on sleeping right at the top of the stairs–which is precisely where I need to walk to get _anywhere_ in my apartment. He wants me to fall down and break my neck so he can feast upon my tender flesh, I believe. Good thing I’m moving to a new condo with spiral staircases in a couple months. :smack: ---
