Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Things are still a little touch and go here, as we have no idea why he keeps losing blood. This morning they’ll start his fifth unit and he’s gotten scheduled to have the bone marrow biopsy Monday.
That’s all I know for now. Thank you all again for being there for us. We really do appreciate it.

My uncle had liver failure and was supposed to not live but a few months. He quit drinking and smoking, and his partner took up doing some nursing stuff for him, and he’s still kicking 2 years later, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to go at all.
And he had been drunk 24/7 to hide from the pain of the diabetes he wouldn’t get treated. My other uncle helped him there, too, forcing him on a diet.

Well, they only gave him 5 units and then kept him a bit extra for observation. But they let him go last night, I’m just sorry I didn’t get to update y’all sooner. Unfortunately though, he hasn’t been feeling that well after all and I’ve been busy with taking care of him. They still don’t know for sure, but they assume it’s the spleen (which I think I’ve mentioned before, way back in the beginning). Hopefully, we’ll know more tomorrow.
You guys are my rock. Your posts have made me cry from all the thoughtfulness. And I’ll do my best to get back to everyone that has PM’d within the week. I just now found some older ones that I’d missed. My apologies. ☹ Now I think I’ve rambled on enough. Please keep the good thoughts and prayers coming. They are much appreciated.

He’s having the test done now. They won’t have the results back though for two weeks. I will update when he’s through.
