I got the same email today but it also came with a warning that it may be about stealing information or spam. Pretty typical of that sort of thing. If you go to the website [wakegov.com](http://wakegov.com), it is a city based website for Raleigh, NC. The response email is an [outlook.com](http://outlook.com) that you are supposed to reply to. I am not aware that an ultra-secret society such as Illuminati sends out such emails blatantly in the first place.

Ignore this, **RevTim** - if you have to send all your passwords and banking information to Nigeria to get into the Illuminati, it’s totally worth it.

Since no one will take this post seriously, I can tell you the truth\*:
There are four levels of secrecy to what you colloquially call “the Illuminati”. First there are the national security apparatuses like the CIA and NSA that are publicly known, but have classified agendas. Then there are the **really** secret intelligence agencies that use the first level as fronts. Then there are the ancient orders that secretly control the intelligence agencies, and through them national governments. Above them are the Old Ones, the less said the better. It’s inferred that beyond even that is something known only as The Next Level a.k.a. The Unknowable- which sure enough no one knows anything about.
I am reasonably certain that NONE of these would notify you by email.
