# My job is old enough to drink!

Today is my 21st anniversary at my current job. My job has now reached legal drinking age! Maybe me and the job will go out for a beer after work and celebrate. 🆒

Congrats! I never lasted longer than 6 years at an official job, except when I was self-employed or unemployed! :eek: :smack: 🆒

Software engineer. I also spent a few years trying to do that management thing, but it wasn’t a very good fit.

My supervisor wasn’t even born yet when I started my current job. (He’s old enough to drink too.)

I’ll pass that milestone next month. And it’ll be the _second_ job in my ‘career’ that I’ve had over 21 years!
