# My Job Sucks

I agree with Tom 100%. I almost had one of those slave jobs: when I got out of the military, I went and applied at the post office. When I did get called back, it was with about 40 other people. They told us:

1. You start off as some type of wierd temporary status.
2. 6 days a week, 12 hours a day, can be called in on your day off.
3. Good pay (started at like $12/hr-this was 9 years ago) and your “foot in the door”.

No way. Walked out without even listening to the rest. I don’t ever regret doing it either, even though the money would’ve been awesome.

I sent out about 6 resumes today: 3 via fax, and 3 just mail. We’ll see what happens.
