The incessant song is, “Duff Beer for me, Duff Beer for you. I’ll have a Duff and you have one too.” Lisa flips out and tries to swim for it, but she ingests some of the tainted water and hallucinates a pretty good parody of the Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds segment from Yellow Submarine. Classic Simpsons episode, and well worth digging up if you haven’t seen it. ---

I have had [this old Dubliners song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II5tqdp-JUk) stuck in my head for weeks, and I don’t know why. My dad was a Dubliners fan, and I suppose I like them just fine too, but why this suddenly lodged in my brain, I have no idea. It’s a jab at the inadequacy of the Irish navy. ---
