**Blockbuster** , at least, has revenue sharing agreements with all but a couple major studios. In exchange for drastically reduced prices for DVDs (in the $6 range), Blockbuster hands over roughly 40% of rental revenue to the studios. That’s how they’re able to have so many copies of the latest movies…
Not sure what other companies have similar arrangements…

Twilight is the bestselling DVD of the year. I don’t think you’ll have to worry about your purchase being the one to make the filmmakers say “Hey, this thing is _really_ popular now.”

The movie isn’t nearly as stupid I’ll grant, but the _Twilight_ franchise represents something much, much more insidious than Mr. Shamalan.
I can’t ken why the OP keeps abbreviating Twilight as TL tho…

Unfortunately that doesn’t sync up well with [Rifftrax](http://www.rifftrax.com). The commentary is just paced all wrong.
