I heard somewhere recently that Pittsburgh is in a teacher crunch. Damned if I can remember where I heard it. I was tempted by the incentives, though. Y’all know that the old Iron City still tugs at my heartstrings.
I’d definitely look into temping. The money is good and you can learn a lot of skills. It sounds like your lack of “experience” might be holding down your job prospects at the moment. Temping can give you some of that experience.
Where do you go to school, anyway?
