[/QUOTE] So because I wasn’t wild until I was legal means it doesn’t count? Cuz when I was younger the worst I did was spend days online and dropped out of school. (Not cuz I fell in with a bad crowd, just I had.. issues and online RP and the people therein was better than real life. If there had been a holodeck then, I’d have never left!) I didn’t fall in with the bad crowd until I went back to school (see! online = good, real life = bad!!!). It was a lot of fun at first, then bills started being put in my name, the eviction notices were almost monthly (then rent would get paid and we’d go a couple months paying on time then they would be late again.. I swear we spent a months rent on late fees over time), bills weren’t being paid, they started getting into harder drugs, lots of really strange and creepy people hung out in our apartment etc etc. The final straw (yeah, I know.. there had to be one?) was when he took my rent money and used it to take his girlfriend out shopping, then on a date, for her birthday. Up until that point he had fairly often taken the money over to the landlord for me and brought back a receipt (and I knew he did it because the landlord never bitched about _me_ we paid him separately and he called me ‘the good one’). Should I add this guy was nearly 30 (he turned 30 the day I moved out) and I wasn’t yet 20? Actually I recently found out he was still with said girl (who, btw, is two years younger than me.. it was her 18th birthday they were celebrating as I recall, maybe 19)and she is pregnant with their second child. I really hope they both grew up, otherwise I feel really bad for their children. And this end the too much personal sharing portion of my posting. I have a little time before it’s time to quite, then off home where I plan to organize the clothes that I’ve washed in prep to be sold at the tykes fair in a week and a half and need to pin the size/cost tags to. ---

Hey there Mumpers, it’s been a busy couple of days here. First of yays and congrats to **Nola \*\* and to** Rosie.\*\* Big hugs to **rigsy.** We’re here even if you just want to vent. I hope things remain civil between the two of you. How are the kids taking it, or do they know yet? I had my follow-up with my regular physician today regarding my edema and the nodule that was found on my thyroid. Nothing solved yet… I now have to have an ultrasound on my thyroid. :rolleyes: The doc was concerned about my lowish potassium level and really did not want to prescribe me diuretics, but in the end I talked him into it. He prescribed me a diuretic that won’t leach my potassium though. He still seems to think I’m over-hydrating and asked me to back off on the water drinking just a bit. Sheesh, first I don’t drink enough and now I drink too much. Make up my mind, puh-leeeze! There’s really not much else going on, just the usual work, errands, you know, life in general. I hope those of you that are feeling Teh Sick get well soon. Hugs and smooches to all… ---

We’re not going to tell them until the hammer goes down–why prolong the pain? Essentially, we want to wait until Daughter graduates (and I do). Somewhat specious, but we are agreed. It’s not like he’s a horrible person or anything. He hasn’t always been nice to me, but I haven’t been all that nice at times to him, either. There’s no drugs or alcohol or affair etc. It’s just years of meh. And the other day I saw A Vision of another 20 years of meh and said no. Off to cook dinner. ---

Okay, it’s official. I _hate_ Papa Tigs. Guess who came walking in today at work when he was talking with someone else, and _recognized him_? Jon Freaking Stewart again!!! Next time he comes in (and there will be a next time, he’s very active with the USO), I’ve given Papa Tigs marching orders to get some great seats for a taping of his show! 😃 He told me this on the phone while on his way home from work. I sat there and whimpered a while with insane envy, then turned around and called **snowbunny** and reduced _her_ to whimpering with insane envy. Shit always flows downhill, right? 😃 As in, what’s better as a parent than to torture your kid? 😃 😃 😃 I have a MASSIVE case of the Don’t Wannas tonight, mostly because I didn’t take that nap that I was seriously contemplating this afternoon so I’m already ready to go to bed, and it’s about six hours before my usual bedtime. Plus I’ve got about an hour and 40 minutes left on this stoopid rush job, but I really, really am not feeling it. This isn’t a carved-in-stone deadline; this is a the-job-was-already-late-when-they-sent-it-to-me-so-they’re-paying-me-way-too-much-money-to-get-it-done-fast deadline. Carved in stone is a lot easier to deal with. ;( ---
