I’m so very sorry. My mom is approaching her elderly years and yet I can’t bring myself to imagine what it would be like without her. The love of a mother is a special, sacred thing. I’ve no words, other than just taking comfort in that your mother’s love is in your heart and it made you who you are today, so in a way, through you, she lives on. ---

When a death is peaceful you might miss the moment even if you aren’t looking at your phone or talking with someone, even if you know what to expect, even if you’ve seen it before. Your mother’s passing must have been peaceful indeed to happen unnoticed with others around her. Don’t feel bad about missing the moment.
