Thanks guys, Mom has been ill for about a month with some type of lung problem and now this. I have been here at her house since noon and she is a bit better now than she was earlier today. She has eaten and that is good, it is going to take time but she will be ok. Your messages have been relayed to her. I believe the prayers, good thoughts ect… have made a difference so please keep it up. I’ll update later. Thanks for being here guys. ---

Prayers for your Mom, Ayesha, keep up your spirits. Many people do OK after a stroke. I’ve only known two who’ve had strokes, and both of them were OK after a while. ---

Good thoughts to your Mom and to you **Ayesha**. Strokes can be very serious, but these days (and especially with prompt treatment) recovery can be very good. I hope everything works out for you and your family. Ugly ---

Just another quick update, Mom is MUCH better this morning. She is eating, walking around a bit in the house and her memory is connecting again. I believe that most of the short term memory problem was being caused by a drug interaction/reaction. She didn’t take a medication that the doctor had given her ( even after she told him she couldn’t him she couldn’t take it ) yesterday and is better now. I knew her body was trying to rid it’s self of something yesterday with the way she was sweating (among other things). I will be here today, I may or may not go home late tonight or tomorrow, not sure. I had to bring my baby cockatiel with me and Mom is afraid of birds but she seems to be ok with him here.
