Holy guacamole am I old!! I read your post and my first thought was “What kind of person gets so pissed at their pet mouse that they throw it at the wall hard enough to leave a dent?!” Well duh, of course you meant the mouse to your computer. :smack: ---

Unfortunately I knew _exactly_ what **CoG888** meant - and it got a chuckle from me as well. Luckily my last expired mouse was several years ago and involved the desktop and not a wall. Condolences to you and take heart in the fact that new ones don’t cost that much. (Pity the smash wasn’t more satisfying though.) ---

A few summers ago I had to dispatch seven real mice in one afternoon, because my cat found a nest of the buggers and dismantled it, one by one, and tortured each one in my living room. Five babies, and mommy and daddy. I removed the mouse from her grasp, then held each one by the tip of the tail and whacked it off a piece of cement. No dents, but there was a sickening “spwat” sound. ---

[/QUOTE] Uh, I note that your location is on the opposite of the Pond, so you might not be aware that “whack off” has certain connotations on _this_ side of the Pond which render your description of said events rather “disturbing” to say the least. :eek: ---
