Is this going to be the Earl thread? If so, can a mod add ā€œEarlā€ to the title? Thanks! Best episode ever! It _was_ new, wasnā€™t it? I laughed my ass off. Randy making up the second line of ā€œbad boy, bad boy, who ya gonna call?ā€ - freakinā€™ hilarious! Several times! I said to my husband that they needed to show Earl with no shirt on, and maybe Joy too. And they did! Poor skinned pecker. ā€œThatā€™s a lot of gravel.ā€ And all the autographs at the end. Iā€™m still laughing! ---

I loved the episode. My ex used to make me watch Cops and this was the first episode of it I actually enjoyed. Only complaint is no Catalina. Love the popping up of so many minor characters. ā€œSince when do you like rap?ā€ ā€œIā€™m not cheating on you!ā€ ---

Iā€™m shocked thereā€™s not a thread yet, because that was one of my top 3 favorite episodes. Loved the whole COPS theme and the fact that they caused enough trouble to have a COPS episode centered almost entirely around them. Favorite line- Cop, after pulling over and releasing a drunk actor: Heā€™ll be fine, itā€™s pretty much a straight shot once he gets past the school. ::school bell:: (paraphrased, of course) Am I alone in the Earl love this week? ---

Crabmanā€™s backstory is bizarre. There seems to be two contradictory lines. Either heā€™s a local neā€™erdowell thrown out of his grandmotherā€™s for growing pot (as seen in the pilot), or heā€™s in the witness protection program (as seen in Y2K). They reference them both and donā€™t make any attempt to reconcile the two. Itā€™s like two writers are fighting with each over it. Itā€™s great. I hope they never resolve it. ---
