So who did Catalina beat out in order to get a place in the box? Was that her mother or her sister? I lost picture and sound all through the episode, dammit. What happened with Paco? It was cool to see how they ended up in the trailer, with the El Camino, and with each other. Nice not to have another jailhouse episode too. ---

Yes. This was a great episode – the continuity was great. I loved the way they filled in Earl’s backstory without contradicting other things we’ve seen – including showing some of the scenes we’ve seen before. It gave it all a different twist. Favorite subtle gag (very roughly): “We saw a sign for a place to stay between a poster for a missing boa constrictor and a poster for some missing cats.” Also the cats as bait in Catalina’s house. Someone at the show doesn’t like cats much, does he? 🙂 ---

Did Joy do the pregnancy test right there in the drugstore? Have we seen the Mutt and Jeff couple before – the ones with the couch? Randy with his “I swallowed a praying mantis and I think it laid eggs in my tummy” – so he’s okay with the bug poison. Lots of bits of brilliance tonight. I wish I would have recorded it. ---

Amazing! A show with Michael Rappaport in it that didn’t make want to change the channel! I liked how they got Howie Mandel to do his old bit with the rubber glove over his head. ---

So we have shoplifting, destruction of property, and indecent exposure…go Joy! Loved how Randy dressed up as an “Indian” so they could have a fake hostage at the Casino robbery. And then he became so fascinated by the Sid & Marty Kroft marathon that he forgot to go to the robbery. “Whoa, check out the vagina on Al Roker!” ---

Pufnstuf](http://www.imdb.com/Title?tt0063907)” (1969). A semi-classic kids show that stoners liked as much as the kids. (not that Randy is a stoner). Yeah, there’s another scene where they’re all looting (maybe the Y2K episode?) and you see Crabman walk by with a huge wheel of cheese. Then winks at whoever it was who saw him, all secret like. ---

I really like this show, and so does my 8 year-old son. Which is why I was a little dismayed to hear Earl say the line, “Can you imagine being married to that bitch?” I’m trying to raise a boy here that has no negative associations of women, but goddammit, television is making it difficult. Other than that one line, this episode was really good. ---
