Apparently, he’s the 5th suicide in his unit. At least his commander says that life insurance will almost certainly be given. Everyone in the car and the drivers are all feeling so guilty. It’s just a nightmare. StG ---

My nephew was undergoing treatment for PTSD, or had completed it, I’m not sure which. He was on leave and back home trying to convince his wife to take him back. She’d left him because he was drinking heavily, to self-medicate, I suppose. She’d told him that she wasn’t going back to him. So that, combined with being in the car when he decided to jump, will weigh very heavily on her. Even though it was the right decision. StG ---

I am so sorry for the pain you and your family are going through **StGermain**. With a ‘natural’ death there can be closure of some sort, blaming cancer, heart disease, tragic accidents, they can all be dealt with in a better way than a suicide. Suicide leaves the blame on those left behind, and I hope your family can come to acceptance in due course. kam (whose husband committed suicide leaving behind four teenage kids who still bear the wounds of that tragic day over 20 years ago). ---
