OK, I got a new job, starting Monday night. Not in any sex related business. I’m a craps dealer. I’m very excited and more than a little nervous about starting work there. There doesn’t seem to be an overabundance of attractive males at the Flamingo Hilton. But, for some reason, ever since I found out I had the job locked up tight, I have been incredibly horny. I find my thoughts drifting toward a male former co-worker I had a terrible crush on more frequently than usual since I was hired. Mostly, I have this overwhelming desire to go out and get laid, preferably, though not necessarily, by the aforementioned, which is problematic because I have religious and moral restrictions about having sex outside of marriage, especially with somebody who’s already married to somebody else. What gives here? Is it normal for excitement over something non-sexual to kick your hormones in? Am I wierd? Does this thread belong in GQ? Somebody help!!! ---

If sex is mostly mental, it would be odd that something you found exciting - stimulating - liberating _wouldn’t_ ‘spill over’ to the sexual side. Another way of putting it - there is no sexual ‘side’ (it’s all sexual). ## BTW, congrats on the new job. Dr. Pinky, killer of threads ---

OK, quick update here. Just finished up my second night on the job. Everyone here is really friendly and people are going out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The money is excellent. Also, I’m not feeling horny anymore. Right now, I’m just tired.
