# My new video card is doing... what?

If I plug into the onboard video, the computer wants me to use the card. The card puts out this gibberish. If I try to install the CD without the card plugged in, the installation software complains that it can’t find the compatible hardware. I’m stuck.

Ideas? My computer guy says it looks like a lemon card.

Yup, probably a bad card. Maybe bad memory.
