Since some people have expressed interest before, I’d like to share that I’ve just had my newest book published: [The Birds of Panama: A Field Guide](http://www.amazon.com/Birds-Panama-Field-Tropical-Publication/dp/0801476747/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296327720&sr=8-1). I’ve been working on it 3 1/2 years (or, depending on how you look at it, 33 years, since that’s how long I’ve been studying birds in Panama). It’s a big relief now that it’s out. My collaborator, the artist Robert Dean, has had an interesting career, having started out as a [rock guitarist](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Dean) before switching to nature art. ---
