I don’t go anywhere without a pen. I have a variety of ballpoints - some slim, some chunky/“ergonomic” - to do the job.
My favorite pen is my blue Sensa. I coveted it for months, maybe years. “I’m not going to pay that much for a pen!” Ha, little did I know.
I love it, but it has a design flaw. If you write with it for any length of time, it starts to retract.
Just a little flaw, seriously. 
The Sensa doesn’t leave the house. Heck, it doesn’t even leave my bedroom (where I do my journal).
If I write with my dick, then my pen is my penis.
Yeah, and on mine the “fluid-plasmium filled gripping system” seems to get too soft and loses its shape pretty quickly.

I’m at the other end of the scale. I prefer Bic or Bic-like pens from hotels. The ones I have now are from a Doubletree and from the Paradise Pier at Disneyland where I was at a meeting last month. I’ve had fancier pens, but I prefer these. But I don’t do much with them except scribble notes and to-do lists. We have a special pen for writing the few checks we write.
or the V7 for a more bolder line. One of the best pen for left handed writers because the rolling ball will not crush like other pens and the ink dries very fast.
