# My PlayStation 2 Won't Play DVD-Rs

Often too, a disk is dirty. I wash mine under the faucet & pat dry.

Well, I got Sony today and asked what was up, Apparently, PS2 was designed to not work with DVD-Rs. You need to get the console modded in order to played burned media =(
