Good morning! I’ve been up for 2 hours, watching the first 2 episodes of season 2 of Slings and Arrows. I do love that show. \*\*FCD \*\*is still asleep, and I’m glad he’s sleeping, poor baby. It’s overcast and dreary and 52°, with rain promised for most of the afternoon. I’m showered and dressed and I’m going to grab something breakfastlike because who knows when Sleeping Beauty is going to drag his carcass out of bed, and I might just wither away…

Plans for today includes some studio time and probably hat-knitting time. I talked to my mom last night and apparently adult hats are also needed, so I shall oblige. I’ve got a great knitted pattern that goes fast and it doesn’t work for kids, so yay for adult-size heads!

The last two Sattiday’s the alarm went off at 4-sumpin’. Last Sunday it was 5-sumpin’. It was _soooooo_ nice to not wake up before the sun this moaning. Unfortunately, I’m already behind schedule.

This weekend has taught me that my knees like either lots of standing or lots of sitting, but not both mixed together. Not sure what to do with this information seeing as I can’t really do just one or the other on a regular basis. :dubious:
Today I’m going to be a bit lazy. I just finished breakfast and I may take a nap at some point. I have an early midterm on Tuesday so I do need to study a bit for that. And I’ve got an appointment with an art gallery to talk about them selling my stuff on Wednesday so I need to get organized for that, too.

Mrs. Plant went into work at 4:00, the Poor Baby.
Killer Killie made a Most Unorthodox aquarium change in a Potentially Tragic Siphon Accident. He is alive and well in another tank.
Further water changes shall wait until Mrs. Plant can provide Adult Supervision.

\*\*flytrap \*\*- water changes here are a piece of cake. We turn off the main pump and let the water level drain to the sump, then do the water change from there. The sump is installed over the basement bathtub - we drain into the tub, then \*\*FCD \*\*cleans the filter cloth and replaces the charcoal, then we pump new water in from the tank where we mix it with salt. It takes about 10 minutes - my sweetie designed an impressive system!
Back from Lowe’s. \*\*FCD \*\*ordered the mill he’s been wanting, and we need something to get the mill on to its stand, so he’s building a framework that’ll hold a chainfall. Safer than trying to manhandle it in place.
I’ll be heading down to my studio shortly to get muddy again. It’s raining and cold and I’m glad to be indoors!

Oh, and **Doggio**? I\m pretty sure 25th anniversary is silver-plated plastic; so styrofoam must be right for the 25th birthday… :dubious::p:D

Apparently f#ckbook (whatever that is) has learned to spell. See I was gettin’ these _f#ckbook fr **ei** nd requests_ in my spam folder. Now suddenly I am gettin’ _f#ckbook fr **ie** nd requests_ in my spam folder. I have no desire for anything from f#ckbook be it freind or friend request. If only I could train my spam folder to reject spam life would be perfect.

Belated happy **LiLi** day and happy birthday to **chizzuk** as well.
Have done about five hundred loads of laundry and cooked red cabbage and made a bakfast bread pudding (too impatient for baked French toast).
Have also defilthified my room and some of the living room. So, go, me! It’s raining out, so no outdoor painting, today.
Off to find something for lunch.

MrTao has been productive, got some stuff out of storage, and we’re looking at/going through a bunch of SCA stuff, which is neat. We now have a 12-guage steel, 17-pound bascinet decorating the bookshelf in the living room. Not even the cats can dislodge that, hah!

Well, today was a bit weird. I’m not sure who, but someone on my street spent about an hour, in random bursts, with a megaphone shouting that someone else a few doors down is a paedophile. I have no idea what’s going on, but at one point about half the (busy major road) street was outside yelling… Half yelling at the guy to shut up, and stop annoying everyone, and one utterly hysterical woman who I couldn’t understand at all.
I have no idea what all that was about, nor why the police didn’t seem to be involved for ages- they eventually showed up, and I think got everyone to disperse. Still, very odd.
I think I really should move somewhere less exciting, this place gets more bizarre by the day.

**Nuts** of course you can’t move. Your stories about your 'hood highly entertain us. 😃
I have finished, folded and put away two loads of laundry. I now have all kinds of clean dainties and towels. I knew y’all would want to know.
In other neighborhood news, I just noticed that the people two houses up from da cave put up a fence and have two dogs. They moved in a month ago. The dogs are a cocker spaniel and a jack russell terrier. I’ll bet the two of 'em are just tons of entertainment.
Thus is the news from swampland.
