Canned soup for lunch…yum?
**LL** is still vegging on the couch watching cartoons. She seems to be doing better. She had peanut butter toast and Gatorade for breakfast and her fever is down to 99.0
I am hoping she will be better by tomorrow since it’s picture day at her Preschool and I don’t want her to miss that.

The fridge must contain milk, eggs, and at least one variety of cheese. Oh, and soy milk- not for me, I hate the stuff, but if it runs out, the housemate thieves my cow juice. I prefer to store stuff in the freezer, because I’m not great at the whole ‘organised meals’ thing, but if I freeze it, it’ll keep until I get round to eating it.
Speaking of food, I need to find a good, simple cake recipe- I just got some super concentrated food colouring, and I want to make a 3 layer cake, coloured like the German flag for when the housemate gets back from Deutschland on thursday (having had a birthday over there). I’m not sure what’s a good one to try. Hmmmm…

My fridge is almost always empty, except for condiments and some cheese, OJ or other juice, eggs, and milk.
We basically live off of canned or frozen fruits and veggies and spaghetti, pb&J sammies, and if we are really splurging, lunch meat sandwiches. Anything else we eat is probably provided by school meals or when we go out to eat. I would probably cook more if I was a stay at home mom and I had the kids with me most of the day, but I don’t so I only really need to figure out meals for after school and weekends.

In other news, I had to call my credit union this morning. I got a certified letter from them Saturday. I hadn’t done anything with the account in a year and they were asking if I was dead and they should move my money to their unclaimed funds.

My fridge needs a major triage and cleaning. I just threw out a yogurt that expired in 2011.
I have, in my possession, a brand spankin’ new iPad. It’s only 16GB, so that means I’ll have to clean out the photo gallery periodically, and it’s heavier than I thought it’d be. Now I have to get a cover for it, and maybe those new oddly shaped earbuds.
