Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ _YAWN_ 'Tis 79 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 95 and rain. There’s green stuff on the weather map off to the west, so maybe so. Then again, I have to be out and about for irk this afternoon so that should be enough to bring on rain. 😃 **gotti** that’s a lot to go through but here’s hopin’ the solution/problem what’s needed to fix it is found. I want small colorful birds to sing for me. **gonzo** I’m not retired but my lawn gets bigger every year too. Da cave seems to do that at times, especially when I am defilthyfyin’ it. **BBBobbio** when you get back to Merrylande today I suggest you go right to **MOOOOOOM’s** for some peach jam first thing even before goin’ to the VunderLair. Don’t call, just show up. She won’t mind. Really. Trust me. **BooFae** are they fearin’ the pointy stick? Ok, I need me some more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Happy Firday! First thing this morning I put a poke tenderloin in the crockpot, with a sliced onion and BBQ sauce. Pseudo-pulled poke sammiches for dinner! I’m here at irk, surfin’ instead of irkin. I’m irked that I’m at irk, though. does that count? 😛 Hot hot hot is in the forecast, with nary a raincloud in sight. Ugh. I’ve been collecting donations here, and my coworkers have helped me out a bunch! We have a distribution for the homeless this Sunday. That will be fun! Ok - gonna go lurk around and probably start doing some irk soon… ---

**Rebo** I think what you are doin’ for the homeless is way jake. Good for you! Dindin tonight will be steak, shrimp, friggin’ good **N.O.T.** and sallit. The shrimp will be Cajun style courtesy of Publix. OYKW has a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for some so he’s gonna call 'em up to get a couple pounds steamed and go pick 'em up. Works for me! Tomorrow Ima smoke some poke ribs to take up to JDD’s folks house on Sunday. It’s their 67th weddin’ anniversary and they do love 'em some ribs, so we figured that’d be a good thing. Plus, I make good ones so I volunteered. Plus I already had some in the freezer. MMMMMMMMMMM… ribs! ---

Break time!! \*\*BBBobbio \*\*didn’t stop by, or if he did, we didn’t hear him pounding on the door since we were in the basement. His loss… 😛 We did breakfast out this morning, since \*\*FCD \*\*took today and Monday off. After eating, we went to the dump, followed by a stop at Lowe’s for some circuit breakers, sheetrock, mud, and corner bead. Then home to attack the basement. Except for one light, we’ve got all the electrical done. We’ve also got the compressor hooked up and working. Next comes framing of the soffit, followed by sheetrock. Envy me. 😃 Daughter called - she enjoyed her cruise but she was exhausted - she sounded raggedy. Tonight she’ll stay with friends in Tampa, tomorrow in Orlando, Sunday in Ocala, and Monday in Jacksonville - she’s doing a tour of Florida. Her return to Merrylande will be the first time she’s driven that far all alone. It’ll be interesting to see if she does it in one leg or stops enroute. Her puppeh will be glad to have her home. And that’s my update for the day. This retirement thing is exhausting!!! ---

Home earlyish from irk just cause. I had some time comin’ from Tuesday’s marathon so I decided to take a couple of hours. Rah. I may go ahead and smoke the ribs this evenin’ again just cause. It’s hawt out but it’ll be hawt as well tomorrow so might as well. Also, shrimps will be heah shortly! Ok, OYKW and shrimps. Look, he’s here a lot but shrimps, not so much. 😃 ---

Home, tired, feet hurt. It’s too Vile Word hot to take a walk this afternoon. Not only that, it’s humid. _Humid_! In the _mountains_! The mountains I moved to in order to \*avoid \*humidity! :eek::mad: They just released the news yesterday that the big fire last week that got a firefighter killed was arson. Somebody’s gonna get in trou-ble! Hopefully when they find the bastard, they’ll let the other firefighters get a good punch in first, especially the guy who got 3rd degree burns. Eleven more days until vacation! ---

**Rosie** it’d be an instant classic! 😃 Dindin is et and ribs are smokin’ away. In an hour they’ll get wrapped in foil and go for another two hours. YUM!!! Plus, even though it has not rained, we’ve had a lot of wind and it has cooled things off a bit so smokin’ the ribs this evenin’ turned out to be a good idea. Go Me! **lieu** don’t worry, in _Cinderella_ they just shake hands. Really. Trust me. There’s a combo toolbox advertised at Sears - we were looking at the floor model at the mall, plus I saw an on-line ad for the same combo. But the people at the store say there aren’t any in stock and they can’t order any. And the website won’t allow us to order one because they say it’s not available at any stores in our area. _WTF???_ So we went to Lowe’s and \*\*FCD \*\*found another toolbox that he likes almost as well. There are none in stock and 3 on order. They can’t tell us when the 3 will arrive at the store. They can’t let us pay for one and pick it up when it comes in. They can’t call us when they come in. _WTF???_ Do these people not want us to do business with them?? \* \\* But we did get some really good Messican food for supper, so my tummy is happy.
