No, it’s just like your state’s DMV scaled up to 50 times its size. And being 50 times larger, it’s even more disorganized. That’s why conspiracy theories fail. The government can’t get its shit together long enough to orchestrate an event like 9/11 or hoaxing the moon landings or anything else that takes hundreds of thousands of people to coordinate or keep a secret for many years or decades.
Who said Bush was a mastermind?
Isn’t this evidence they could not have gotten away with it? They didn’t get away with the WMD nonsense, so how could 9/11 have bene pulled off?
If you think about it, the WMD nonsense would have been substantially EASIER to fabricate; the planting of some poison gas weapons in Iraq would have been a fairly easy hoax to execute, requiring maybe 1/100th the effort and planning of a 9/11 hoax. Hell, maybe 1/1000th.
But they didn’t even come close to pulling off the WMD hoax; hell, many people (including yours truly) had concluded it was hoax before the war started, because the story was already falling apart. But then upon the invasion they couldn’t even drum up a plausible, phony cache of sarin. How could they have pulled off a hoax a thousand times more difficult?
Just so I have this straight - ‘they’ pulled off the greatest conspiracy of all time in the 9/11 attacks, defying the laws of physics in the process and managed to keep everyone quiet about it but then when ‘they’ decided to invade Iraq they realized they forgot to tie Saddam to the attack and ‘they’ were suddenly too lazy or inept to do something as simple as manufacture some evidence of WMDs?
I’m not saying 911 necessarily happened according to CT but it quite coincidentally helped along many agendas. Many things aren’t revealed to the general public until decades or centuries after the fact, and there’s uncomfortable coincidences. The evil mastermind bin Laden just happened to be a former CIA operative. What really happened is at least somewhat of a mystery. We’ll find out more as the decades pass. As for WMD hoax, stupid mistakes happen. Sometimes a great basketball player will miss an easy layup even when he nails his 3-point attempts.
Just because Nixon lied doesn’t mean I’d doubt him if he said 2+2=4.
Hm… From Richard Nixon, I’d pause and think it over a bit before I accepted it.
Funny you should mention blocks. They fall a lot like the towers did http://youtu.be/NBbz2eIoVDQ
If you think about this it makes perfect sense. Gravity is pulling straight down, so that is the way the building will fall.
A CIA operative? Really?
That’s what all advocates of the conspiracy theory say.
I’m not sure if it’s the way you’ve worded it but your statement makes little chronological sense.
You didn’t know?
I’m not sure how this remark makes sense.
What does chronology have to do with it?
The most convincing theories now go with a high-grade form of thermite.
That would explain the absence of loud kabooms. At the same time it would explain the enormously high temperatures that melted steel.
There are supposed to have been extensive renovation projects,
where personell were just asked to not come in for a couple of days.
‘Maintenance’ was mainly on the elevator shafts.
The cabeling problem, that had me persuaded explosives were nonsense, is of course simply overcome by remote-control. Nobody uses it in the demolition buiseness because it brings unnecessary extra costs. If money is not an issue though…
Did the buildings collapse downwards from the floors hit by the planes?
Would have to look again, but certainly Building 7 collapses from the centre and I seem to remember that the big antenna on tower 1 dipped first, before the rest started going down.
I haven’t bothered to read a single point about how the moon landing was faked, how a handful of insiders run the world, or how there was something non-obvious around 9-11.
I offer an observation as a long-standing observer of human nature: We believe what makes us comfortable facing the world, and we find reasons to believe those things so that facing the world is comfortable.
In the case of conspiracists such as you, what makes you comfortable is not easily replaced. It’s not likely that any reasoning will convince you.
It’s my personal belief that a personality which lends itself to various conspiracy theories is a variation on clinical paranoia. In short, your brain is more or less hardwired to indulge in this sort of silliness.
Just enjoy your delusion, and try not to let it interfere with the kind of decisions that allow you to be otherwise functional in society. It will likely frustrate you to persuade others of your obvious truths, and frustrate them trying to dissuade you of your nonsense.
The real conspiracy, of course, wasn’t the demolition of the WTC but the construction. No building can really be that tall, gravity will pull it down and it will collapse of its own weight. Just try to stack children’s building blocks, you can’t possible make them five feet high unless you use a pyramid shape. So, the towers never really existed, they were a hoax perpetrated by the Wall Street Capitalist Cabal to generate lots of money in fake stock deals. There was a mass-hypnosis involved as well, lots of people went into the five-story buildings and were tricked and hypnotized into thinking they were huge tall. When the plotters made enough money, they decided they needed to pretend the towers were destroyed, so they made the fake footage and aired it on all the TVs so that everyone would believe it.
Yeah, look at any video of the collapse and you’ll see that it starts with the floors where the planes hit. It’s pretty obvious. Since those floors were an inferno of burning jet fuel, why didn’t the thermite on those floors ignite immediately?
The steel did not exactly ‘melt’. It did lose structural strength from the fire as it got hotter. That is what steel does.
These renovation projects were mostly an invention of truthers, and even then were only in one tower. The time period given didn’t allow for a fraction of the job to be done.
Remote control is not used because of accidental activation by rogue radio waves, not expense. Do you think anyone is going to use remote control in a city that probably has the highest level of radio traffic in the world?
Of course, I know of the theory but know much less of the proof that leads to such definitive statements.
Everything when considering the timeline of events. Let us have a look at what GreenElf said again:
“they” lied about an event in 2003 to make it possible to lie about a past event in 2001. I might not be giving this the full attention it deserves, but the statement still comes off as being awfully queer.
To say the least.
Like I said, it could just be the way GreenElf worded his/her suspicions, or perhaps I’m reading it wrong. If the statement makes sense to you, then why not clarify it on GreenElf’s behalf?
You’re confusing cause and effect.
All major events will tend to “help along” the most prominent agendas that follow them - if you think about it that is the only logical way history can unfold. Every major event will of course push forward those agendas that succeed and change the course of history, and will hold back those agendas not served by them. To use an obvious example, there would never have been a Soviet Union, and you would never have heard of Lenin and Stalin, had World War I not happened (or if it had but Russia had done better.) That entire agenda of Communism was enabled by the results of the war - but that does not mean Lenin started World War I, as much as his agenda was made possible by it.
Had 9/11 not happened, the progress of world events would have changed, and you would now be saying that some OTHER course of events was an “agenda” that was assisted by other notable events.
No he wasn’t. The CIA helped Osama bin Laden and his allies in the Afghanistan war against the USSR, but he was not a “CIA operative” and in fact there is essentially no evidence bin Laden ever worked directly with the CIA. Most U.S. aid to the muhadjadeen was funneled though Pakistan and other intermediaries.
I cannot think of a single mysterious thing about the events of 9/11. It is as completely and fully understood as any event in the history of the human race.
I think it means: Since we know they lied about WMD, we have object evidence they are capable of lying, so it’s possible they ALSO lied about 9/11 and other events.
Of course the truth about their lies regarding WMD were revealed so quickly, it’s nonsense to think a lie of this magnitude would remain hidden for this long.
