# My Siamese cats are Olympians. 1. They are _Ice dancers_. They perform the best figure 8s while they walk around my ankles. 2. They perform _Ski jumping_ aerials. Quite impressive. Always land on their feet. 3.Expert at _curling_, very tight curls, mixed doubles. They like to shout at each other during the sweeping part. 3. When they are _speed skating_ through the house it’s like they are a blur. 4. _Luge and Monobob_ they perform without any fear. They jump in and sled very quickly. ---

New one: Bear and Meeko walked across my headboard, jumped on the window sill, leaped over to the foot board (about 3 inches wide) walked it and jumped really high onto the top edge of my closet door. Floor excercises? Parallel bars? Oh, wait… Wrong Olympics. ---

Pretty much. They do this thing on top of the freezer. They go around in a circle, each tapping my hand and continuing on around and around. Tail straight up with a tiny crook in the tip. (I generally stand there a few minutes and lighty pinch the tail crooks) Usually purring very loudly which sounds very swhoosh like, to me. (If you suspend your disbelief in my overactive imagination, I mean, 🤔) ---

Do they also practice mountain climbing? Linden is forever scaling shelves, the mantle etc. (but not the kitchen counters or stove, fortunately) and when I looked it up and found another owner writing to a vet with the same problem with their own Balinese the response was basically “she’s a ‘long-haired Siamese’ so you should’ve expected her to be a champion climber.” ---

They like extreme sports. I would try to get them bungee jumping but they would just float down. Light weights. ---
