I changed my sig so it would have a link to here. But when I typed in [http://www.bored.com](http://www.bored.com) and looked at my new sig, the link was to a site: [boards.straightdope.com/bored.com](http://boards.straightdope.com/bored.com), which doesn’t exist. Why did it do that and how can I fix it so it will link to the site I want it to?

Argh! The first link in my first post is to the site that is in my sig. The second link is to the site that I wanted. Why does it do that? I’m typing the vB code in right.

You have to say url=“[http://www.bored.com](http://www.bored.com)” in your sig. You need to have the http:// in there or it doesn’t work right.

Good. Now whoever’s bored will go to [bored.com](http://www.bored.com) instead of some nonexistint site.

People who are exceptionally bored can go there twice. 🙂
