The big C. I tried to be a good younger brother. I don’t know if I succeeded - maybe I didn’t. I love you sister. My father’s first child, who brought so much joy into his world. You fought hard. I admire your fight. You might have fought too hard but that’s not for me to judge. We all die alone, but I’m with you. It sucks calling and nobody answers and when someone answers…they’re asleep or not lucid. Rambling, I know. ---

It’s deeper than just her. Her son (my nephew) had schizophrenia. Committed a brutal suicide. Ruined her. Ruined more people than I can know. There were police officers who saw him do himself - they’re traumatized. The drivers who had no idea they were about to run over his body on the highway…they’ve probably been dealing with this. I rage. I rage because my nephew should have had access to mental health care. I will never stop raging. Ever. I’ll never stop being pissed off. ---
