They think on Friday. Her body was discovered yesterday. I found out today. She is the one we always expected to go next, but not this way. No suspects yet. (That I know of–I’m two steps removed on the information flow.) My parents have now lost three of their nine children to violent deaths. I don’t think I could be as strong as they have been. ---

Horrible, just horrible. I think all parents have that awful thought enter their minds. How would I react? My answer is I would react very very poorly. Can’t imagine how it is for your parents. ---

What terrible news. I can’t begin to contemplate such a tragedy. It sounds like she may have been a bit of a lost soul, but this reminds us that every lost soul is somebody’s son or daughter, sister or brother. ---
