One obvious result of a significant increase in atmospheric O[sub]2[/sub] would be more frequent forest fires which burn hotter and longer and do more damage. This, in turn, is going to increase CO[sub]2[/sub] emissions. I’m not even sure the end result of this is predictable, but it might very well not go the way we’d planned.
