# My son cracked his first joke

Ok, I’m sure this can only be appreciated by me, plus there’s context you’ve got to understand, namely that in the cartoon “Sponge Bob Square Pants”, there’s a character called “Mr. Crabs” who is extremely cheap.

So, we’re playing Junior Monopoly, and when my 4 year old son lands on my wife’s property, and she says “Pay up, baby”. To which he responds, “I should call you Mrs. Crabs.”

Well, it cracked me up anyway.

By the way, just found out that the voice of Mr. Crabs is the guy who played Capt Bryan Hadley in the Shawshenk Redemption (“Drink up while it’s cold, ladies”). Also, the voice of Mermaid Man is Ernest Borgnine.

That’s actually a funny story, **Bill**. The Tzeroling tried hard for months to get the concept of knock-knock jokes but just couldn’t make 'em work. Then she got a book of them from RIF or some other reading program and read to us out of that constantly. _sigh_ when it rains, it pours…
