You said “You draw the risk line where it becomes a statistical problem”. You have not made out a case for why teen car-driving is not a problem, while teen motorbiking is. You have not stated your acceptable level of risk, and explained why this level is acceptable. You have continued to state “This way is safer”, which is the tiddleywinks-instead-of-football argument.
Got a call this morning from my crying mom. My brother was killed on his bike. Intersected time/space co-ordinates with a large hooved mammal of some kind. Early reports are an Elk. No word on its condition. Curious…
Just 3 days after I completed a 800 mile trip on my bike with a couple near (but probably not fatal) misses with wildlife myself.
