It started at 9:30 this morning. Like a good little fiance, I’ve picked up some gatorade and fruit for him for the morning, and the toilet is nice and clean. Am I really curious about what he’s doing today? Yes, very. Do I _really_ want to know? Probably not. ---

It’s better not to know, IMHO. Let boys be boys for one more day… It’s not that I’m fearing my own fiancee’s stag day… I just don’t want to think about it. ---

Ah, I recall Jim’s stag - I was a good fiancée too, and covered him up where he was sleeping in the bathroom. 😃 He’s Irish and can hold his liquor just fine, but they really did a number on him at his stag and he was sick for days. ---

Mine was pretty boring. A friend lived out in the country, hooked up a monster stereo and we sat around drinking beer, smoking pot and listening to music, The girls got curious and stopped by, ended up staying, nothing exciting. On the other hand, a buddy’s bachelor party went the other way. Another buddy hired some strippers to perform except they were more like hookers and things got really…uhh…out of hand. Saw some strange things that night. The happy couple’s still together so all’s well that ends well I guess. ---

Everyone’s is different, although most involve alcohol consumption. Mine involved playing poker. The guys figured I’d get shnockered and they’d take a bunch of money. I showed up with no cash at all. One of the guys loaned me $50, and I ended up winning a pile. It was a profitable night, although I did end up drinking too much and feeling pretty rotten the next day. My brother threatened to get a stripper, and I told him I’d walk out of the party if he did. Last thing I need is embarrassing pictures showing up years later. ---

The one time I set up a bachelor party, we “kidnapped” the guy from dinner (with his soon-to-be-wife’s help), got him liquored up, and made him sing karaoke duets with a blow up sex doll. (“White Wedding”, as I recall.) It was all vaguely trashy/vulgar without being anything that his fiance would feel hurt by. He was hungover pretty badly the next day, but we all had a blast. ---

I had mine last saturday. The fiances group is pretty small so we had them both on the same day and met up later. The guys and I went up north and spent all day playing paintball and late we met up with the girls in the cities and rented some rooms so we wouldn’t have to drive when we got plastered by the end. Right now my legs hurt so bad I can barely walk down stairs. Six hours of crouching to get cover from flying paint wasn’t worth this much pain. ---
