Hey, you guys are pigs. Things with innocuous titles get almost no views compared to the replies while sordid threads get incredible view to reply ratios. \*\*Any Michigan Dopers Want To Go To The Rennaisance Festival? \*\* 11 replies 81 views 13.58 percent of the viewers posted \*\*Halloween OhDope! (that’s right, Ohio!) \*\* 278 replies 2276 views 12.21 percent of the viewers posted compared to the lecherous posts: **caught in the act stories** 22 replies 796 views 2.97 percent of the viewers posted. Too ashamed, I’d wager. **Bunnygirl does anal** 26 replies 846 views (and I swear to God it was in the seven hundreds when I starte typing this) 3.07 percent of the viewers posted. Less posts? No, way more viewers. You people are pigs. now this is where it gets interesting. Luckily, I’m a brilliant mathematician or it would lack credibility when I reveal that you fools have accidentally revealed your perverted, s&m bestiality cravings. I don’t understand why the nasty threads get less views than some of the no sense ones. But personally I like to go to the perverted threads. Some of the things people say are just priceless. ---

Since you’re not a mind reader, allow me to explain. We’re not really fond of experiments like that. While you did a better job of it than [the other guy who gave it a go yesterday](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=83095), deliberately explicit thread titles just for the sake of high view counts/many responses are a no-no. I know in your case it was all about the phenomenon itself, and you even backed it up with some statistics. But we’d still rather not see you try it again. ---

Only collected stamps from 1964 to 1979, huh? Any thematics? Cinderellas? FDCs, entires? How about miniature sheets – no, wait, getting the albums for those can be a curse. Personally, I stopped actively collecting about 4 years ago. These days, the collection’s there to pay for the funeral when I die. Oh. You _didn’t_ want someone posting about philately?
