My short fantasy story “And 'Twill Prove So”, is out in the latest issue (#40, May 2025) of **Dark Horses: The Magazine of Weird Fiction**

I originally conceived of this story in response to a call for fantasy stories set in New Hampshire for the anthology **Live Free or Dragons** , but the one I eventually submitted to it was _George Washington and the Dragon_ (which was published). But I wanted to do something with my alternate ever since.

Also a reminder, my non-fiction book **Mystery Ship: The Long, Strange Odyssey of Submarine S-49** is coming out sometime this year from McFarland Press.

I hadn’t noticed, but on my email the publisher McFarland Press had put the ISBN for my book **Mystery Ship** , so I’ve had an ISBN for a few months now.

They’ve put up a webpage for the book:

It’s up on the Barnes and Noble site and ThriftBooks and some German publisher (but not translated – it’s only in English). And it’s on Amazon book websites in other countries, but not in the US
