# My subconscious needs to get out more often

So last night I had a dream. I usually remember my dreams fairly well in the morning. So I wake up remembering my dream which was this:

I went into a bar and played video poker. That’s it. I didn’t win big or lose big. I just sat and played poker until I woke up.

I think the guys in the basement need to get out some more. I mean, they could have at least brought a good looking woman in to flirt with me. Or I could have hit a jackpot. Or the evil Video Poker Demon™ could have jumped out of the screen and chased me around for a while. Instead I played poker and nothing else happened.

And I thought my waking life was boring.

An aside, I play video poker about three times a year. I get bored playing within 20 minutes most of the time. It’s just not my thing.

I once had a dream that my friend called me in the middle of the night, woke me up and said “just calling to say hi.”  
I called him the next morning and gave him hell. He was very, very confused.

I dreamed just last night that I built my dog a doghouse. I made it entirely out of 2-by-fours for some reason.

And like **sleestak** , I woke up thinking, “Surely I can come up with something a little more disturbing, enlightening or at least sexy to dream about? That was LAME.”
