[/QUOTE] Umm… That’s a little bit different (actually **A VERY GREAT DEAL** different). The town and the annexed area are presumably in the same state and certainly in the same country. I think it’s reasonable to assume that the state that these locations are in was in agreement with the annexation. In the case of “annexing” Mexico you are talking one **country** taking over another. Yes, “invade” **would** be the accurate term for it. ---
