My throat hurts. My tonsils and neck glands are swollen, and there are little white spots on my tonsils. The back of my throat is okay, though… it’s just my tonsils. And it’s Sunday, and the doctor is closed. It’s probably viral anyway. Grr, and ouch. ---

Warm salt water gargle helps me when I have a sore throat. Give it a go every couple of hours. Get well soon. ---

I am not a doctor, but I am a nurse. My advise? Tomorrow or sonner get checked, it sounds like strep. Lots goes round in warm months. I suggest you let them do a swab and culture before taking antibiotics though, in case it is viral. A strep infection can lead to lots of problems… can be serious. Or not. In mean time, don’t go around sick people, old people, babies, pregnant women, etc… ---

This is probably caught from a co-worker who was recently sick, too. Sick days aren’t just for the sick person, people! They’re to not infect everyone else! He just wouldn’t go home. :rolleyes: ---

Works like a charm. It’s great for when you have a virus that you just have to wait out. Make the water as hot and salty as you can handle. ---

I second juji’s dx. Strep is nothing to mess around with. Get a culture done, although most docs can tell before the results come back. Feel better soon. ---

Get thee to a health food store! If it’s viral, Natures Miracle brand “Wellness Formula” is amazing stuff for knocking out virus stuff, just max out on it, per the directions!
