This is my little xo to [my friend Lindsey](http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/breaking/cbsports-durlacher-memorial-service-at-buffalo-grove-high-school-20110606,0,1896856.story).

He gave his heart to [Greco-Roman wrestling](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greco-Roman_wrestling), sure, but also to his community and friends.

He was recovering from surgery last week and of course the last thing I said to him - right before he went to sleep for the last time - was, _Feel better. xo._ as we had a date scheduled and I was pretty excited for it.

_sigh_ I guess he is wrestling with the gods now.

I’m sorry to hear this. I was at the NYAC in2005 when Lindsey won the Christmas tournament. He was an impressive athlete and it’s sad to see him go so young.
