# My Town Finally Got a Bookstore!!!

Rejoice and be exeedingly glad! Make a joyful noise!

I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally have a real bookstore in town. Before, all we had was three shelves of Sci-Fi and entertainment biographies in Sam Goody, and a used bookstore that specialized in Harlequin Romance Novels.

Now, a local couple has opened a bookstore in a 100 year-old building downtown. Their selection is still relatively small, but it’s growing. Every time I go in there, they have more.

Not only are they asking for suggestions, they’ve asked me to send them my “Wish List” because they want to appeal to as many customers as possible. The store is going to be three floors eventually, though they’ve only got the first renovated as of yet.

Though some titles are more expensive than I could get them from Amazon (my sole book provider for years) I’m buying from them as much as possible to try to support them.

I’m just so damn happy I had to tell all of you about it!

Yay! Every town needs a bookstore… Without a bookstore a town is a… um… town without a bookstore… Which sucks.

Anyway, cool you’ve finally got a local book haven.

I lived in a town so small that we had neither bookstore nor public library. All we had was a couple of shelves in the dime store. The book mobile would change the books about once a month. My aging father was looking for something of a religious nature to read. _Hey, God…It’s Me, Margaret_ got his attention and he checked it out.

Boy, was he in for a surprise!
