Some of my apartment-mates found this movie in the communal DVD collection and watched it while we were there. 🙂

I’ve seen it done with a rising platform, if the floor where the furniture needed to go wasn’t too high; that way you don’t need to install the pulley.

I found a site from a UK moving company that [shows several ways to hike things in through a window](http://davidsremovals.co.uk/wp/?p=15) - wonder how much that costs …
