I think **Robb** has a point. I just recommend you be careful. If you take potshots at these varmits, you might be fined for discharging a firearm in city limits.

A week ago last Sunday my wife and I received an award from that piece of shit known as Mayor [Michael Norquist](http://www.jsonline.com/news/metro/jan01/norq11r011101.asp?format=print) for having such beautiful landscapping. Trust me, neither he nor most of the residence in this city deserve to have us as citizens here.
With that said, flowers are, well, very important to us. What kind of piece of shit steals your flowers? Could it be…?

[sub]For those not in the know: those stereotypically “Dutch” tulips? Not that Dutch at all. We got them in what is now Turkey back in the Golden Era (16th/17th century), and have been selling them as “ours” ever since.[/sub]

Do you have young children in the neighborhood? One year my sister was horrified to have her young son present her with the most beautiful collection of lilacs. From the neighbor’s beautiful flowering bush.
She went out and bought a lovely Mikasa vase. She and her son presented the lilacs to the neighbor in the vase, with a note of apology.

My post wasn’t strong enough. especially since the Op stated they’d have given some flowers away. Stay the fuck off ther peoples property! Not enough trespassers are getting shot, if you ask me!
Very few things define me as much as owning my own property!
Getting awards for our landscapping means alot to my S.O. and I.
I would honestly give cuttlings of our roses & tulips if asked. But ask! otherwise get the [fuck](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=167797) off my land!!!
